No Club Access - due to bridge entry work

Our plan to repave the front entrance driveway is coming together. Working with the contractor, Grosse Pointe Farms Public Safety, and the Crescent Board of Directors, we are confident we have a plan that addresses safety and security concerns while minimizing the impact on member use of the Club.

The project is expected to require 11-14 days in total. Construction itself is anticipated to take approximately four days, followed by a 7-10 day period for the concrete to cure. During this entire period, all access to the Club grounds will be closed. This includes access by automobile, boat, bicycle, motorcycle, and on foot.

Because the timing of the project depends on weather and contractor availability, we have established a project window between November 4 and November 30. Once we have a confirmed start date, we will notify the membership.

What Members Need to Know

• At some point between November 4 and November 30, members will be unable to access the Club facilities or their member boats for up to 14 days.
• During the closure, there will be no access to the Club grounds or facilities by vehicle, boat, motorcycle, bicycle, or on foot.
• Cranes will be winterized between October 19 and October 22.
• Floating docks and Radocy will be removed or winterized on, or by, November 1.
• Members are strongly encouraged to remove their boats from the harbor before November 4.
• We will not schedule Club or private events during the November 430 project window.

We understand that temporarily closing the Club will be an inconvenience, and we appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation as we complete this important project.
